Thanksgiving 2024, The Gitel Foundation brought together volunteers and community members to package over 500 meals for homeless shelters, along with personal care packages for those in need. This initiative not only provided nourishment but also embodied the values Gitel held dear—giving back, fostering unity, and uplifting our neighbors in Los Angeles. “To truly see the needs of those around us is to open our hearts and take action.” This reaffirmed our mission of combating food insecurity and caring for those who go unnoticed.
